In order for owners to become certified they must comply with the following requirements:
Disconnection: Make it easy to disconnect, disable Wi-Fi completely, and offer guests non-digital entertainment (books, newspapers, board games, crosswords and more)
Sleep: Create a haven of rest. Quality of sleep is the first victim of hyper connectivity. In order to maximize the benefits of a digital detox, good sleep is essential. Attention to the quality of the bedding, the pillows and of the mattress, as well as a quiet environment must be shown to guarantee a good sleep.
Food: Organic local food that has been sustainably sourced must be available to the guests.
Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices and show an environmentally responsible attitude towards water, electricity and waste.
Activities: Alternatives are offered to distract guests from their smartphones. People do not know what to do with their hands without the smartphones. It is necessary that activities such as hiking, bike tours, visits, tastings etc. are proposed during their stay.

Sleep on a comfortable bed. We make sure that both the mattress and the bedding are of top-notch quality. You will also have the option to choose the sheets and pillows that suit you better.
Rediscover the beauty of silence. Our selected accommodations are quiet and far from big sources of noise such as city traffic.
Rooms usually have large windows to allow plenty of light into the room. As well as shutters to block out all light at night for optimal sleep.
In your room you will find a welcome box with a selection of organic and local products. Most of of our accommodations are family owned with most of the ingredients used in the kitchen coming from local gardens.
For us, every drop of water counts. We use water reduction tools to optimize water consumption. That includes harvesting rain water and filtering the grey water. Toilets use collected rain water.
Electricity from our solar panels and small wind mill is stored in batteries. Our goal is to have accommodations be 100% off-the-grid. In addition, our properties have energy efficient appliances and lighting.
When it comes to waste, we work to recycle, repurpose, and reuse all that we can. We like to reduce the use of plastic. Most of the furniture used is made with natural materials
